Dr. Brad Archer, MD, RPh

Dr. Archer is the Clinical Associate Professor, Internal Medicine at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. He was previously the Executive Medical Director of MercyCare Community Physicians in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He also served as the Chief of Staff for Iowa Health Systems (now UnityPoint Health), Iowa Methodist Hospital and Methodist West, all in Des Moines. He is board certified in internal medicine and palliative and hospice medicine and received his medical degree from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine.


Joe Garcia, MBA

Mr. Garcia is the South Central Territory Director at Aflac. He has previously served as the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Sage Assurity, the Vice President of Sales at Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Marsh & McLennan’s Consumer Division. He is a highly sought-after industry consultant with 18+ years in the insurance industry, and currently serves as a director on a number of boards.


Les Jebson, MHA, FACHE, FACMPE, LHRM

Mr. Jebson is an Administrator and Adjunct Lecturer at SIU School of Medicine. He was previously with the University of Florida Health System at their Diabetes Center of Excellence and the Executive Director for the UF Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute. He was the Chief Operating Officer and architect in the establishment of a new 40+ provider hospital employed multispecialty physician group in metropolitan Kansas City. Mr. Jebson is both certified and a fellow with the American Collage of Healthcare Executives and The Medical Group Management Association. He serves as a guest faculty for an array of universities and professional healthcare organizations.


Julie Meek, PhD, RN

Dr. Meek is a Clinical Associate Professor with the Department of Environments for Health and Co-Director of the DNP Program at the School of Nursing at Indiana University. She is the founder and CEO of The Haelan Group, a predictive modeling and health coaching company.


Jim Painter, PhD, RD

Dr. Painter is Professor Emeritus at the School of Family and Consumer Sciences at Eastern Illinois University. He is an internationally recognized food psychologist and nutritional information motivational speaker. Dr. Painter produced ‘Portion Size Me’, a documentary about fast food and health, and been featured on CBS’s “Early Show” and in journals and magazines including the ‘Journal of the American Dietetic Association’ and ‘Glamour’. He has served on numerous advisory boards and is a member of various health related associations.


Laura Jana, MD, FAAP

Dr. Jana is the Founder & President, Practical Parenting Consulting, LLC, a consulting firm that provides pediatric and parenting expertise to parents, academic and government institutions, corporations, non-profits and the media. Since 2005 she has been the owner/operator of the Primrose School of Legacy, a national franchise educational child care center. Dr. Jana is also an author and founding partner of Amazing Me Books LLC and serves as a member of the NET (Nebraska Education Telecommunications) Foundation Board, the Experts Advisory Council for Kellogg Company, and is a regular contributing writer to the Omaha World Herald.


Ignatius ‘Nate’ Brady, MD, MPH

Dr. Brady is an Occupational Medicine Specialist for the Iowa City VA Health Care System. He was previously the Medical Director for Occupational Health at MercyCare Community Physicians in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He also previously worked at Iowa Health System (now UnityPoint Health) as the Medical Director for Wellness and Assistant Medical Director. Dr. Brady received his MD from the University of Colorado, Health Sciences Center.


Jeanine ‘Nini’ Martin, FHIMSS

Ms. Martin currently serves as the Director of National Healthcare and Americas Alliance Liaison & Global BI in Health Lead at Avande Inc (Microsoft/Accenture joint venture). She previously worked as a US Health Provider Industry Strategist that helped build the Microsoft Health Provider, Plan and Life Sciences Industry team. The past 25 years she was a HIT leader, Nurse Advocate & Clinical Informationsist, and has been involved in a number of technology and health development initiatives. Ms. Martin is a regular guest speaker at national medical technology conferences and a founding member of HIMSS-PMI Project Management in Healthcare SIG and past President of Women in Technology International.
